Welcome to the Impact Podcast!

Did you miss last Sunday? Now you can listen to Pastor Greg's teaching throughout the week. Take Pastor Greg with you to the gym, for a walk, or even to the grocery store. It’s your choice! Whether you need to pause, rewind, or replay, podcasting allows you to listen wherever and whenever you want — as often as you want.

You have 3 options for listening to the Impact Podcast:

2 - Using iTunes on your computer
3 - Using the built-in MP3 player on the Impact website

iPod
Podcasting is designed to allow you to listen to internet broadcasts at your convenience. The iPod is Apple’s proprietary MP3 hand held device that synchronizes with iTunes when you connect it to your computer. You don't have to use an iPod to listen to podcast subscriptions in iTunes, the iPod just lets you take the podcast with you when you're away from your computer. iTunes
Apple's proprietary program transfers your downloaded podcasts to your iPod and is the gateway between Impact’s podcasts and your iPod. It allows you to subscribe to podcasts directly in iTunes. It is a free program, compatible with both PCs and Macs. Just click on the subscribe link below to subscribe to Impact's podcasts. If you don't have an iPod, you can still use iTunes. You will be limited to listening to the podcasts with your computer. Check out Apple.com to download iTunes.

The church is the family of God commissioned to advance the kingdom of God on earth. The values of the kingdom constantly conflict with the values of this world. The King of the kingdom is Jesus Christ, who came to this world demonstrating how we are to relate to this world. He confronted and clashed with culture while connecting with people.

The church is to do the same being the living, breathing body of Christ in this world. For this reason, the nature of the church is ultimately relational. It is love for God which always manifests itself in love for people. That is the heart of the church. Consequently the essence of the church can’t be measured in attendance, buildings, or cash - all of which can exist without the internal necessities.

In the opening of chapter five of the gospel of Matthew, Jesus gives a primer for Christian living and demonstrates that a citizen of the kingdom is to be defined first and foremost by what he or she is instead of what he or she does or accomplishes.  An honest evaluation reveals that there are essentials that should be in the church that are sparse or noticeably absent.

This series is a call to return to what is important according to Jesus.

Impact: Why We Exist

What’s in a name? In the case of Impact Fellowship, it defines the very essence of our existence. It answers the question: Why do we exist? What is essential? What are we supposed to be? God didn’t leave that up to us to decide, but sometimes we do anyway. When that happens, we tend to create our own ideas and definitions of success. In this series, we are going to get back to the basics without which nothing else we will ever achieve or do will matter. We are going to break down IMPACT one letter at a time and rediscover our God given purpose in this world.
